Collins Travel are very aware of their environmental responsibilities.

Collins Travel in conjunction with the SEAI was one of the first Private Coach Operator to turn green in 2008

Adopting a full Green Energy Policy reducing emissions through the following methods:

  • Idling – Monitored and restricted to 2 minutes per vehicle
  • Eco driving & driver training
  • Tyre management
  • Vehicle racking reports daily and weekly allowing constant training for drivers regarding idling and eco driving
  • New vehicle sustainability
  • Saving over 52 tonnes of C02 Emissions to the atmosphere per annum

Driver Training in Eco Driving to reduce fuel emissions and defensive driving

New Coaches/ Vehicles purchased with the latest Euro6 engines, proven to have the lowest emissions

New coaches/ vehicle selected by manufacturer pertaining to the type of work we do, allowing maximum fuel saving and less Litres per 100Km.

Full Recycling Policy in our depot and Company.

Supply our own Organic Water in 100% recycled bottle.
